SUM Open Data Platform (ODP)

This Legal Notice applies to the SUM Open Data Platform (the "Platform"), accessible at https://sum-odp.eu and https://odp.sum-project.eu.


1. Publisher

The Platform is published as part of the SUM (Seamless Shared Urban Mobility) project by the SUM Consortium, the group of partner organisations participating in the project.

The project has received funding from the European Union's Horizon Europe Research and Innovation programme under Grant Agreement No 101103646.

3. Intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, the content of the Platform — including its structure, texts, graphics, logos, and software — is the property of the SUM Consortium and its partners, or is used with the authorisation of the rights holders. It is protected by applicable intellectual property law.

Open data and open-source content. Datasets and research outputs published openly through the Platform are made available under the applicable open licences defined by the project (for example, Creative Commons licences for publications and the licences specified for each dataset). Please refer to the licence indicated for each dataset or publication before reuse. The applicable terms follow the SUM Data Management Plan and the principle "as open as possible, as closed as necessary".

Any reproduction, representation, modification or distribution of protected content, in whole or in part, without prior authorisation or outside the terms of the applicable licence, is prohibited.


4. Personal data and cookies

The processing of personal data through the Platform is described in the Privacy Policy.

The Platform uses only strictly necessary cookies required for its operation and to maintain user login sessions. It does not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies. See the Privacy Policy for details.

5. Liability

The Platform and its content are provided for information purposes. The SUM Consortium endeavours to keep the information published on the Platform accurate and up to date, but cannot guarantee that it is complete, accurate or error-free. Use of the information made available on the Platform is under the sole responsibility of the user.

The SUM Consortium cannot be held liable for any direct or indirect damage resulting from access to or use of the Platform, including the unavailability of the service, or from the use of any information obtained through it.

The Platform may contain links to external websites that are not under the control of the SUM Consortium. The SUM Consortium is not responsible for the content or privacy practices of these external sites.
