Tool: Integration of ride-pooling and public transport

We consider the integration of ride-pooling fleets and public transport (PT) by developing a framework that restricts some ride-pooling vehicles to arrive at a PT station shortly before the arrival of high-capacity PT services, to serve passengers that want to combine ride-pooling and PT. This model is developed in the SimFLEX simulation framework. The utility of users with and without using the combined mode is assessed, therefore the framework could be used, on the one hand, to suggest optimal trip planning advice to users, and, on the other hand, to make decisions for the location of optimal transfer stations.
